Thayer Central Education Foundation
Promoting
Excellence in Education
"An opportunity to help enhance educational
opportunities and services to the students, staff, faculty, and
residents of the Hebron School District"
As educational needs expand and costs increase,
teachers and students at times are presented with opportunities to
further enhance their educational background and skills. Often, funding
is not available to support the pursuit of these opportunities. Your
involvement and contributions through the Thayer Central Public Schools
Foundation will enable us to meet some of these needs.
Many times the usual grant programs are not
available to K-12 schools. Your contributions, active participation, and
input are important for the fulfillment of the educational needs of the
Hebron Schools.
The fine school system in Hebron did not happen
by accident. It is the result of tremendous effort by school officials,
faculty, parents, and those recognizing the vital part that quality
education plays in a community such as ours.
The Thayer Central Public Schools Foundation
invites you to choose your level of support described on these pages.
Make out your donation check and mail it with the form provided. All
donations are tax deductible for Federal Income Tax purposes.
Donations can come in many forms, such as
annual cash gifts, trusts, wills and life insurance. A commitment to an
annual gift or any size is crucial. These gifts provide the ongoing cash
flow that is necessary for an active Foundation support program.
Donations made to the Foundation will receive
permanent recognition. Donors names will be inscribed on a nameplate to
be prominently displayed in the Thayer Central High School lobby.
Annual gifts will accumulate and allow you to
reach new recognition levels.

"Thayer Central High School has developed a
tradition of academic excellence. The foundation will be an instrument
for significant contributions to this tradition."
James Fraser, He-Hi Instructor
(1993-Present)

"Many of us now live elsewhere, but our
excellent education in Hebron has helped us very much over the years. We
can say, Thanks! with a gift to the new Foundation and help todays
students at the same time."
James K. Uphoff. ED.D (Class of
1955)
Dayton, Ohio
"Being part of the tradition of academic and
extra-curricular activity excellence at Thayer Central Public Schools
has been a benefit to so many people. Our contributions to the
foundation will support continued educational challenges and success for
the students of today."
Nancy McLaughlin Kruse (Class of
1981)
Omaha, Nebraska
"I have many fond memories of Hebron High
School, both as a student and as a parent. Giving to the Foundation is
as much an act of gratitude for what we have been given as an expression
of hope for things to come."
Idonna Wiedel Kripal (Class of
1961)
Hebron, Nebraska

Remember: Best Friends, Classmates, Special
Activities
Isnt it great to remember those formative High
School days. A time in our lives when we were learning to survive in the
real world. Times that we remember and laugh about now
times that we
relish
times that are implanted in our minds forever.
You may have gone on to distinguish your self
in some special way. You have probably worked hard raising a family.
Maybe you have excelled as an individual leading the way for others. Or
perhaps, like most of us, you lead a normal life, happy to solve the
problems of the day.
Whatever your experiences or status in life, it
all started in that one place your Elementary and Secondary School.
Now there is a great spirit being shown in the
Thayer Central Schools. This Web page outlines how you can help that
spirit continue and have an important part in maintaining educational
excellence in the Thayer Central School System.
